    Absolutely the worst all around Aida performance I’ve heard anywhere in many years. Latonia was just OK, needs a good coach for Italian opear, Alvarez sucked rocks, the worst Celeste Aida ever, Morris sounded like he was 100 and the coordination between Armiliato in the pit and the stage was horrible, almost as bad as the Ernani broadcast a week ago. And yet, there were many bravos from the now very non-discerning NY audience. What has happened to them in recent years.. Not one thing deserved a bravo and yet there were many of them.
