This past year, my dear friends and I have lost two wonderful, artistic individuals to Ovarian Cancer. Stacey Micoli was a beautiful young soprano and a graduate of the University at Buffalo, and Geri Tallone a great broadway and popular voice who graced New York and other American cities with her soulful beauty. As an honour to them this holiday season and the notion that our artists are suffering from a disease that is in need of continued research, I have posted a widget on this blog for you to offer your support in this cause. To Geri, Stacey, and all others who have been affected by Ovarian Cancer, we are strong with you. God Bless.
Geri Tallone
Loved Geri very much. She touched my life in ways profound. I thank you for including her memory in these pages. She is forver included in my heart. xgrace
Stacey Micoli was my beautiful and loving daughter. Her love of music, especially opera, pervaded everything she did and was. She was a valiant fighter of a disease that is insidious and ugly, but remained optimistic and beautiful throughout her battle. It is important that we not forget her or the disease that took her from us.
To that end I urge everyone to remain vigilant and continue to support research to aid our physicians in finding cures for all cancers especially sarcoma and ovarian cancers. The answers are out there , we just need to help the researchers find them so other people have the gift of a long healthy life.
stay strong !
